When I bought my ms3, there was still a new (as in never purchased and not lots of miles, had obviously been there for a while...) ms6 on the lot for cheap.
Wanted a hatch, but for a few thousand less and adding AWD was more than willing to compromise on that.
Pushed both as hard as I could get away with on the street, and found the power transfer from front to back in the ms6 was both harsh with and somewhat unpredictable. Made some roundabouts more interesting than they should have been. Maybe it was just he one I drove. Maybe I would have adjusted. I don't know, but it did not inspire confidence. I've driven plenty of other AWD cars and never found the power transfer shifts near that noticeable. It was almost like it shifted in large discreet chunks (100:0, 75:25, 50:50 or whatever, probably more like 5 steps to get that far, not three) instead of being a smoothish curve.
Again, may have been that specific car, which could be why nobody else had bought it either...
In any case paid a few thousand more and took the ms3.
