I might be trading for a 12x6 enclosed trailer and would like to store it behind my house and getting it back there without a car. I found this one on ebay VEVOR Motorized Trailer Jack Wheel 350W Electric Mover Dolly 5000lbs Adjustable the trailer weighs close to 2,000lbs. However I wonder how well it would work in the grass. Anyone have expierence with Trailer Caddies?

Given that it says "compacted dirt", I think you'll have problems with grass, especially if there's been rain. I've considered a similar arrangement, and I've seen much bigger versions of this that had multiple wheels that might be better, but no direct experience.
Got a riding mower? Put a trailer ball on the front bumper.

That's a very interesting thought.
We move glider trailers like that using a golf cart. I didn't want a bunch a ham 'n eggars wheeling around with someone's expensive toy and not paying attention. If it's just you, put the hitch out back, more weight on the drive axle.
Hmmm.
I thought this was going to be about a VW Caddy made into a trailer.

I built this thing from an old snowblower and used it to move trailers inside our storage building and to tow the jetski trailer and tote over the dunes and down to the ocean to launch. Getting the balance correct was difficult if the trailer had too much tongue weight. If I were to do it again, I would build it with a 3rd swivel caster wheel.
Put an outrigger out front with a caster wheel?
Trailer Tug I found another that seems to be nice. Some of the youtube video's I found people put down boards when moving in the mud/grass/gravel.
The vevor unit you posted looks like a hard surfaces only type of unit. I could see it sinking on anything but compacted road base.
for what the trailer movers that can handle dirt cost, I would look for a used riding lawnmower and mod as necessary.
or (without knowing your property) it might be cheaper to move the gate

I would find a way to make them "grip" the grass.. nails or spikes. Nobody wants to send a board flying out from under the tug.
Anybody try one of these?

Looks like a bit of a monster and you'd have to keep the keys away from the kids but it would probably work on most surfaces short of swamp.
