I need to pump water out of my basement perimeter (foundation) drain. I need something that runs on 110 and will last. Eventually I need to put a sump pit in my basement but it's not going to happen for awhile. I will probably only use this once a month as it takes about that long for the water to become an issue.
I was considering this from Harbor freight. Some of the cheaper models I would think would not be able to deal with the small amount of silt that may be in the drain. Are there other brands I should be looking at.
Then I found this. More horsepower and less money. But I've never heard of this brand. Can somebody make some kind of recommendation before I buy something that's garbage. Thanks!
