Leather restoration

Anyone got a good product recommendation for restoring leather? There are millions of different products out there all claiming to be the best, but I've got no way of knowing what actually does or does not work. This is actually for house furniture, not a car. We've got a soft leather sofa, love seat and single set that's about 12 years old. With kids, dogs, cats it doesn't look a day older than 25 years though. In areas the color has worn almost totally away and if I don't do something soon it's going to wear through and or tear. This is a much larger area than a car interior so I want something that isn't going to take days per seat. The leather is very soft and supple and feels thinner than the normal automotive material. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks

I use mink oil on all of my non-sueded leather. It will look darker for about a week to a month, depending on if the leather is very dry at the time of application. It may make the surface tacky, so put a towel down where you sit for a day. If the surface is dirty I use a leather cleaner made by Lexol before treating with the mink oil.

Leatherique is the best conditioner / treatment I've ever used. It isn't cheap, but works very well.
