Woody,
Does your brother-in-law have a room with an area carpet? One that really pulls the room together?

Mitchell, you're out of your element!

Excellent point. He will be missing a rug after the party.
Woody wrote: For anybody who might be shopping for one, I'd advise you to get one size larger than you might ordinarily buy. Most of the ones on eBay were Large. Mine is an XL. The sleeves are long, but the body is snug. A Large would have been too tight.
Mind if I ask your height/weight? XLs are hard to come by, I might be able to get away with an L but it's not like I can go try one on somewhere.

Hmm...we're close...might have to keep looking for an XL

Ah, so a bunch of one-liners that mean something only because a lot of other people have watched the movie 100 times as well.
Then I guess I don't get it. Reminds me of when I read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I can't think of anything less interesting than someone describing a drug trip.
And I'm not trying to be all wet blanket in here. I was just genuinely curious about what I missed (or didn't identify with).
It's funny I get a very Lebowski vibe when I cruise around in the Colony Park, I dunno why, but now you're making me consider doing the wood paneling in a bowling lane theme with little lane arrows and dots in the wood.

Damn, that's perfect.

Yeah...dammit, theme change again...Now I definitely have to find a sweater to wear while cruising. I already have my Dudeism stickers on the car.

I watched Easy Rider once. I stared at the screen like a dog looking at a doorknob.

Just like ZW said, it's a standard cult movie. Everyone quotes the one-liners and if you don't get it, you're not cool or something.
(Waiting on the "Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man" quote)
Dang you Woody, so I had to go surfing eBay looking at the sweaters. Found a perfect one, exact colors and all. Priced absurdly high of course ($475) but it had a "make offer" option so I was bored and lowballed the hell out of it (well below 50%) and well...I guess someone needed Chrismas money.

Make sure there's a Creedence cassette in the tape deck.
Woody wrote: What size did you go with?
Went with the Large, its a motivation thing. I started 2012 at 235 lbs. As of this morning I was 195 lbs. I have a few "motivational" clothing items, things I really like but bought in the size I want to be rather than the size I am to motivate me to get there.
