Yesterday I was behind an Acura MDX that had LED brake lights (lots of little bulbs under the lens, I assume they were LEDs). They were barely visible at all when the driver was braking. I almost rear ended the guy before I realized what was going on, and I got out from behind him right after that (and his CHMSL was burned out too), but I was wondering if these are stock? And how did Acura not notice that they can't be seen in daylight before putting them on the car if they are stock? Seems really dangerous.
And for the record, I haven't had a problem seeing LED brake lights on Cadillacs and Audis previously.
A lot of new cars have qulted reflectors to get an LED-like pattern, I find those are easier to see in the daytime than real LEDs even.
Cadillac's, especially, seem very bright and easy to see. These were so bad that I wanted to alert the driver.

I've found that some cars regular marker LEDs are bright enough to look like brake lights. Then when they brake, you can't see anything but red glare.

Caddys are really annoying. I usually shut my eyes or look out the side window when I'm behind one.
Makes it fun to try to drive in traffic...
