We have a new local venue, Vintage Villains, that's been having one or more weekly metal shows, most with at least one touring act. The last show I attended was 8-bands for $8. 4 of those bands were signed, and 3 were on Metal Blade records.
Their concert room is lined down two walls with pinball machines & arcade games that are free to play, and the other side of their store sells comics, vintage gaming systems, sic-fi/horror toys & collectibles, etc. 
Sounds like a cool venue. Tomorrow we'll be at Will's Pub. It's like a non-smoky dive bar.
I keep waiting for GRM-fest, track day by day and concerts at night to be held at a track on a Saturday and Sunday
