Love Stills' non-CSNY stuff. I think the "Manassas" project is my favorite.
Thread needs some Funk, tho.

wow.. when you said Retro.. I was getting ready to mention that I have been streaming Baroque music for a week now.. but I guess that is a little early for Retro...
haha mad-machine... I was just hopping in to say something similar... been rolling the "Mozart" channel on pandora... goes back to Baroque but stays mostly classic and romantic... good studying and reading music most of the time
I'll bring this back from the dead. I guess retro is different things to different people.
I was looking for something in my shop last week, when I found a cd that had been buried for some time. The stuff around it was from a project in 05, and I remembered buying it, but never listening to it. I popped it into the shop cd player and it's at the top of my rotation now. The first I mother earth cd from 93, Dig.
There's not a bad song on this album. It's killer from beginning to end with lot's of percussion, extended jams, and great songwriting. Duke, you'd probably like it.

That whole album is great. There's one track where it's just quiet little noodly pianos and then a BIG HORN SHOT kaBLAM then back to pianos.
I was listening to Crowbar the other day on the way home from work. Is this a Canadian thing, or did What A Feeling make it south of the border? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=truzy5iOUKM
Retro tune.
In reply to Keith Tanner:
Hah. I bet this is one of the few forums where more than 50% of the users would recognise that.
If pressed to claim a favorite song of all time, this could be it:
