Charcoal tastes better, but man gas is so much easier and faster to deal with.
I've been looking at Pellet grills but I need to play with one first

As a pellet skeptic, I bought a cheap one, and have become a convert. Not much difference time wise than gas, not quite as strong flavor as charcoal, set it and forget it.
It just doesn't sear well.
Buddy of mine just traded for a KTM65 that is somehow street legal. It's the least legal street legal thing I've every seen. He drove it to work. He's getting somewhere between 16-19mpg. It has a .95 gal tank. It's just silly.
This might be the year I finally purchase a set of plans to build an airplane.
I want a shag-nasty Pitts:
I'd easily settle for an Acro II
But I'll probably wimp out and build a simple Air Camper.
Well, there may be a shortage of TP, but there seems to be an abundance of great Bordeaux at my local wine stores. Nobody but me seem to be buying, so I personally feel like Warren Buffett buying up value.

Yay!
Looks like a classic Casio F-91W. And it looks great on that strap! I want one now. Walmart has them. I'm going tomorrow. I'm sure they're still in stock, unlike everything else there.

Raisin cookies are the best.

Joan Jett made me want a Melody Maker. Still haven't pulled the trigger, however.
I pre-ordered a set of polished Hypergrams about 5 weeks ago and now I'm finding out they may be another 4-5 weeks
I like this thread. I also like Max Balchowski and Dr. Ernie Nagamatsu. Ol' Yeller Mk II, Buick Nailhead. Doc drives it very well!

To suggest cooking any mean in any form in a microwave is better than any other way of cooking meat is offensive.
All I can picture is a hard, rubberized, dry, and very bland piece of meat- ugh. Disgusting.

At this same age I want to buy a WRX STi, an old GTi, or a fast Civic - all stick shift.
What's that all about?
Why not both? I love my big luxobarges AND zoomy manual fun things (except Subarus). I also don't wear sandals to go ride my roadbike 30 miles.
My last cheapy charcoal grill lasted about 5ish years now but I didn't put it up for winter this last season and now it's rusted to hell. I wouldn't mind a fancy gas grill, but they're expensive and I hate the taste of propane on my food...
Might buy another cheapy grill from Walmart for $20 and buy a cover this time.

When we lived on the island my housemate was away with the truck for a week, so I was stuck there by myself. The propane for the stove ran out on day 2, the charcoal ran out on day 4. On day 6, I put a filet in the microwave.
I've paid for worse at restaurants, but I really don't recommend it at all. It wasn't dry but it wasn't good. I was doing 30 second bursts hoping for a rare, wound up medium well inside by the time the outside was warm. I don't remember the exact timing.

Speaking of, I just bought a pair of Exustar bike sandals (stiff shank, cleat mount) that are great so far. They'll be my go-to for summer commuting and long gravel rides in hot weather.
...But I also mentioned falling in love with pontoon boats lately, so I may have just become an old fart....

That would be so much better if the Jeep grille was laid back 10-15 degreed while leaving the lights as is.

Rare for a 'bitsa' to have such good proportions. One of the big magazines had a nice article on Ol' Yeller 10-15 years ago, I wish I could remember which one.
