If reversible it could be therapeutic or masochistic. Not sure which.

Got one for my birthday and I love it. It takes on a patina with time and use, goes good with my raw denim. Made in 'Murica too.

Walk into your local Tandy Leather or perhaps your local leather store. Buy a nice belt for $20

And choose your buckle from the display next to the belts.

Under $25 total and will last a decade or two. My current one is 15 years old and the only reason I am thinking about replacing it is the dog chewed the retainer loop off when she was a puppy

I actually just use a $10-$20 solid leather strap belt from American Eagle.

Gets worn 7 days a week, i wear it working on cars, it gets dragged all over concrete, etc etc etc.

Currently.... 7(?) years old and barely shows any wear.

I have a carhartt leather belt that I wear daily. It's at least 8 years old. I just bought another, as it looks a little too worn for nice occasions, but works fine. With my new job, we have a uniform shorts/pants, that I must wear about 30 days a year. The carhartt one doesn't fit. I bought a nylon belt from cabelas. I bought is as it as a multi tool buckle. The tool isn't much good for anything save the bottle opener. However it has held up quite well.

really doesn't matter if the other tools don't work … as long as the bottle opener was good

SWMBO bought me an LL Bean leather belt about 5 years ago, and it's still in great shape.

I wear it 7 days a week and unless I'm going on a plane it has a leatherman on it.

The semi-official sizing procedure is, if you have a waist smaller than 40", you punch a new hole where you want it and trim off the excess if you feel like it.
Not if you're wearing it with a $1500 suit it's not

personally, I think that you would look worse in a suit with no belt then with one you cut to lenght. google 30" mens dress belt if you want to buy one.
