I got to admit I love the iPhone because I just want my phone to get emails, check the internet and make calls and I just like the user interface of the iPhone better then the Android. I am not really that worried about extra processing power or whatever on my phone. Now I absolutely hate Apple computers.

I have the regular Droid RAZR. The MAXX just has a bigger battery. I don't mod phones, but I've been very happy with my phone whereas a coworker with the Galaxy is always complaining about it. We are both Verizon and use the phones for work including live server access. I get about a day and half out of my battery with task Killer, about 3 hours without it.
Three hours?! Replace your battery. My X can pull more than that running GPS, bluetooth, and streaming video, and it's got less efficient hardware.
That was brand new, out-of-the-box. Again, that's while working work apps including live updating from a central server, real-time.
Ooof, did you follow proper charging procedure? You may also want to consider setting the data updates to 15 minutes, or more (battery mode in Battery & Data Manager). You should be able to do more than 3 hours with literally everything on the phone on (screen, 3G data, bluetooth, GPS). A good example is if you're getting turn-by turn while streaming Pandora via bluetooth to your headunit. Google says TechCrunch got 4.5 hours with their RAZR going balls-out like that, so unless you're doing similar (something a task killer won't help with), you need to see about getting the phone repaired.
Think of task killers as throttle body spacers: they may have worked a bit for carbs and TBI engines, but now, they're no better than the intake tornado thing.
On the subject of turn-by-turn:
For me, the iPhone vs Android battle ends when I consider Google's excellent turn-by-turn navigator. It's free, it's native to the device, it works very well, and I use it a lot.

So basically your Android is better because it's faster than an iPhone 4s. Alright, I haven't seen any proof to back that up, but I have no problem believing that. Cheaper too even.
has free navigation that actually works, doesn't refuse to play the music I own (off of CD's) because they didn't come from their own DRM-store.
Say what? I have never had a single problem with the navigation on my phone and I have tons of music ripped from CDs on my iPhone....

Well my phone is getting a little old at this point (HTC Thunderbolt) but it still runs like a top and blows my GF's iPhone 4Gs out of the water to the point where she's reaching for my phone whenever she needs to look things up on the internet or get directions. Google maps GPS navigation is fantastic and the traffic condition updates have saved me countless times.
+1 (although the g/f has an Incredible). It's been great for the year or so I've had it, although I tend to joke that it's my "$300 flashlight". I got an extended battery immediately along with Seidio belt clip and cases (a light version for everyday and a HD version for "extreme" conditions). Depending on useage, I can get 2 days on a charge.
I don't go nuts with apps like some do, but I've found it to be a useful tool for work and personal stuff.
I used to be a Moto Fan Boy back in the day, but I haven't found a decent phone from them in years.
I have a Droid 3 company phone now, I have every issue listed on every board and Verizon refuses to do anything about it.
Horrible phone from a horrible company.
As far as the Razor my co-worker has one on VW. It is very poor battery life and the phone is getting very hot from the battery. She doesn't do alot of smartstuff. Just checking email and talking.
As far as phones go I do alot of research on HowardForums, they seem to be very accurate on there (as far as any forum is.)
(I can't believe I am about to do this) If I was going to recommend a phone I would an iPhone. They work.
If you want an Android I would go Samsung Galaxy 2S or the Nexus. Everyone I know with these hardware setups don't complain about anything. Other than battery life (which these guys use them as PCs so they know why the battery drains.)
I do wish the Galaxy S2 had been available on Verizon. That's probably what I would have bought over the Rezound. But there's no way I'm giving up my grandfathered-in unlimited data or Verizon's network at this point, not to mention the whole extended family is on Verizon, so all that mobile-to-mobile is free.
