What is a Honda CTR?

Civic Type R.

It's not like there is a link in the first post or anything. devil

I may have been making a point about clarity.  I have an electrical engineer friend who speaks in Initialisms, and I make a point of not understanding anything he says to me.

No, not really. It took longer to make your first post than click the link.

Now I'll get off your lawn. wink

Could it also be that much of Europe is cooler climates where A/C isn't as important?  I know all cars in the US stopped offering a/c as an option several years ago. Can you still buy a car without a/c in Europe?  If so, then the delete makes more sense.

Most US market cars use the audio system for the DOT-mandated door chimes/warnings, so deleting the radio is not possible either.

These are cool.

It's a shame the Civic hasn't be attractive in like 10 years or more.

Toyota needs to give us the Yaris GR. 257hp, AWD, 2821lbs. That's a new little hatch.

Why in the hell would you buy a 3100 lb street car, and not want A/C or a radio over 30 lbs?

Hell I could use to lose twice that.

Am not an European, so I have no clue.

I agree. Why not get at least 100lbs out of it. It's always a joke when the "lightweight model" isn't more than a 100lbs lighter.

I second my first comment? smiley

I know when I had my BRZ, I had identified how to easily make the car around 125 lbs lighter without impacting it's DD abilities and wasn't even THAT expensive when you consider things.

IIRC, just the nice rear seat delete kit, lightweigh battery, and AP or Wilwood BBK upfront is good for losing 70-80 lbs out of a BRZ.
