That's me on the far left in all these videos, playing my '64 Harmony Rocket H59.
If you dig the classic country, also check this link to our website for some samples of a few rough mixes of tunes on the record we're working on, due out...sometime in the future.

Heh. You better start buying, 'cause I decided I'm in love, and I need more of them.

My steel player tells me there's more to come on this page (he's still busy editing individual songs and uploading), so if you dig it, check back periodically for more from this gig.
Hopefully we'll be getting a digital camera before too long, so it won't look so crappy when it's compressed.
Oh, I should also add that some samples of rough mixes from our upcoming record are up on our web page: http://trigger5.wordpress.com/music/
Good stuff. You need to play Knuckleheads over here in KC.
Those old Harmony's are cool. Along the same lines, my old Kay lives on inside a Tele body these days.

Knuckleheads, eh? If there's a mechanical bull, I'm in. (I saw the Reverend with Nasville Bob Costas (hilarious filter content!) over there several years ago, but all I remember about the bar was the mechanical bull.)
Where else is worth looking into around there? We're thinking of doing a little regional touring this summer.
Well, I never get out, so I'm probably not the best person to ask. Knuckleheads would definitely be right up your alley, though. There's a pretty active rockabilly/country revival scene here, so I'm sure that's not the only place. Might want to see if you can get on a bill with Rex Hobart or (better yet) my buddy Jim Holopter's band The Rumblejetts. Jim's super-plugged in, so if you want, drop me a line and I'll put you in touch with him.
Speaking of Jim, if you come over this way, you should stop by his wife's hair joint, Chop Tops, for a cut or shave. Where else can you enjoy Carl Perkins and maybe a PBR while getting a pompadour done just right?

Yeah, we'd love to hook up with the Rumblejetts. They get over here pretty often too. Shoot me an email (akcarlson at sign gee mail dot calm ), or send that youtube link and/or the webiste link his way with my email, and see if he's interested in us.
Thank, Baxter!
