Funny. I once owned a '76 Olds Cutlass. It never occurred to me that I could do that.
Silly ebay ad said: "ROOF IS CHOPPED".
Uh, no E36M3?
It's like they just couldn't stop tinkering.
I love that thing, it's pointless enough to be cool.
I have dreams (nightmares?) sometimes of me trying to get in or out of cars like this.
Once again my theory of: A: Stuff lying around the shop and B: Welders having a slow day and C: Beer. This is what happens.

there isn't a fake blower on it- it's a tunnel ram, which is a very real way to get a pair of carburetors on an engine and make a lot of power..
on a related note, i have a Mr Gasket blower scoop just like that one bolted to the hood of my Murray riding lawn mower.. it's badass..
Sounds like I need to stop and take some pics of the mechanics shop down the road from me. Subcompact car chassis on a jeep frame and running gear, looks terrible, but interesting at the same time.

My only problem with projects like this is that I wonder what could have been done with all the fabrication and money spent creating it, unless of course the original idea was to supercharge, chop and turn a Cutlass into a 4X4-then it's mission accomplished
