Uh-oh, missed the news that Piloti was no more. Time to scavenge Marshall's and see if any are still lingering on the shelves. Dang.

Along those lines, Vibrams are surprisingly comfy to drive in, lots of feedback. Found them on sale, $35. I like them better than traditional "driving shoes" which tend to be more narrow and cramp my gigantic feet.
After looking for a while, I have found out that my size in puma is 12 or 12.5, assuming the size would be the same from a regular sneaker to a xyzCat. With that information I've started looking online. On Zappos, Puma Drift Cat 4 Winter $45 There was a mention in the video about being warmer for the colder months, thoughts on that? Take the leap?
And on a side note, my wife loves, and wears all day, her multiple pairs of $20 clearance 'lady cats'.

I've got a couple of un-worn pair ... size 12 .... $10 + shipping
these:
I know you said you want to try on first ... but for this price ??? how bad can it be ??
wb, I'll take 'em. What size shoe do you normally wear? I usually wear 11-11 1/2, sometimes 12 in a sneaker due to triple e width.
I've gravitated to a 13 now as I get older .... these are pretty true for size ... your only problem with these are they run narrow (I'd be happy to send them to you .. just don't want you to be disappointed )
In reply to wbjones:
Thank you very much, they fit perfect, and feel a bit more substantial than the Pumas I was looking at. Now I just have no idea when I get to really try them out as I'm limited to auto accords for the foreseeable future.
glad they work for you
somewhere I should have another pair ( never been out of the box )
someone got them for me before I figured out that they didn't fit ... if anyone's interested I'll root around in the junk room and see
I also have these if anyone is interested :
LICO ( size 48 ... 12 - 12 1/2 and are too wide for me ) ... ( they were a birthday gift last yr )
