My flashlight batteries are toast.

It came with UltraFire BRC 18650 3000mAh, 3.7V LI-ion batteries.

I see some higher spec batteries in terms of mAh, up to 5000, but is it worth it?

Is there a better rechargeable battery I could put in this light?

Not looking to break the bank here either though.

Thank you all

I think on you tube there were guys all excited about 18650 batteries at Walmart. I believe they were in the lawn and garden section with the solar walkway and garden lights.

They seemed to think it was a great deal.

A higher-capacity li-ion battery is the easy upgrade. Beyond that the only better thing you can get off the shelf is a li-po battery, but that will require a different charger and a sand bucket for safe unattended charging.
