I spent more time looking at those than I thought i would. Some cool photography and places.

I like. I better start hunting some property before the bank barons buy up all the land around them so the po' folk won't spoil their view.

There are some really nice little houses there. I'm a little house fan - or, at least, and efficient house fan. It kills me to see the craptacular "starter palaces" that they have farted out all over this area.

We're currently looking for either a small cabin with some land, or 50+ acres of bush to build one on.

This is my family's place in the Nicolet National Forest in Northern Wisconsin. We are off the grid but we do have LP, solar panels, and a generator. The outhouse is just barely visible in the first picture. The rain barrel is only for summer time outdoor showers .

You don't need a cabin to have an excuse for a 'mog. The excuse is simple "Because they are awesome".

This is my families "shack". Great grandpa bought the land in 1931. Grandpa built the cabin in 1962. I reroofed it in 1993 and added a bigger porch in 2008. No electricity, hand pump, fireplace for heat and an out house.
