There are folks that actually killed someone and didn't do the time she did, 34 years. Guess it depends on the target.

Imagine if she had one after a president people cared about

Of course it didn't help that the whole Manson family thing was still reasonably fresh in the public mind. Not to mention she's as crazy as a E36 M3house rat.

I really thought she would never get out.

Actually there are people who have killed multiple people and spent less time in prison.

I think she should be wearing one of those invisible fence/electric shock dog collars.

I'm surprised that they're letting her out at all. In the late 80's, she escaped so that she could be closer to Charles Manson.

I'm a bit of an authority on crazy chicks, and, even among crazy chicks, this chick's crazy.

But, I'm sure that she's completely rehabilitated by now. She'll probably go on to lead a productive, insane life on the outside. Nothing bad could possibly happen from this point forward.

I once knew a girl who claimed to be Squeaky's cousin. Don't know if it was true, but she was bat-E36 M3 crazy too.

"has been serving a life sentence but was eligible for parole almost 25 years ago. She had waived her right to parole previously and chose to remain in prison."

SHE CHOSE TO STAY IN PRISON!!!! She could probably kick my ass!!

Gotta be careful with those hallucinogens, kids. Too much strychnine can make ya all goofy.

When I get to the bottom

I go back to the top of the slide

Where I stop and turn

and I go for a ride

Till I get to the bottom and I see you again

Yeah, yeah, yeah

I have a great uncle who met Manson. He was a California Highway Patrol officer and pulled Manson in his van for speeding. Never wrote him a ticket, but the two did spend about 10 minutes talking...

Until the side door on the van opened and several of his girls hopped out acting odd. One of them came up to Manson, looked my Great uncle over, and asked Manson if they could "start now". Manson supposedly told her no and told the girls to get back into the van.

It was not much longer after that Helter Skelter broke loose with Manson and his followers. In Hindsight my Great uncle admits that was the closest he ever got to death in his 20 years in the force.. and he never knew it at the time.

Okay this is going to sound strange...

John Waters is responsible for the death of John Hughes because yesterday Waters said Leslie Van Houten should be released from prison and I thought that he was talking about Lynette Fromme...

Wait I AM RESPONSIBLE!!!

Strangely enough, there have recently been several specials on TV about Manon. He may not be "crazy", but he sure is loony.

At the end of one special they had a note that the state California does not allow TV interviews with criminals.
