Machine shop going out of business auction

My buddy is closing his machine shop and he and his business partner are turning to an auction house.

If I was close by I'd probably be interested in some things, but I have a strong feeling shipping for a band saw would suck. Oh well, good luck to your buddy.

I haven't been able to find a machine shop for one-or-ten-of-these parts in five years up here because everyone's completely buried in work, and now there's a shop going out of business?

Machine shop going out of business auction is how I got my valve lapping tooling.

Oh man!  He LOVED to do small runs, onsies and twosies. He said it broke up the monotony of production runs.

Now you just need to buy a CNC machine. I can store it for you. 

I hate the think how much he paid for all that stuff.

I wish, it went for something crazy if i recall correctly.
