Any of yall do any magnet fishing? I tried, unsuccessfully, yesterday for the first time. Got LOTS of little rocks.
I'll try more, though.
If you have - find anything cool?

Dad once pulled up a '60s or '70s era Coleman Lantern (this was in the late 90s)
The spot on the river it was in was brackish, so based on the condition of the lantern it probably wasn't in the water for more than a month or two. Someone was probably shrimping and used a nylon rope, heat from the lantern melted it, then in the water it went.
Dad still has it and uses it whenever power goes out.
When we moved to the Chesapeake I tried it a little. Never really got much of interest.
I never went for one of the really big magnets because I figured it would land on an old engine block or something and I'd have to cut the magnet loose.
I have done very little of it; basically just what I could see from a boat launch. I think it is fun though! Follow https://www.reddit.com/r/magnetfishing/ for some decent content.
