We have a small bedroom in the basement thats been used to store random crap since we moved here. It's roughly 10'x15'. We've been cleaning it out and I'm going to turn it into MY room.
I've got a alot of car stuff I've collected over the years that's going to be on display.(original unopend Dukes of Hazard slot car set
) I also have a very large collection of magazines. A neighbor is moving and has given me two bookshelves that I hope will hold all of the magazines and books. I have a couple of posters for the walls.
The most awesome thing is I'm going to have a permanent place for my sim racing rig. Racing in a leauge two nights a week plus practice it gets old getting everything out and putting it away all the time. I'll just have to carry the ps3 down with me. Eventually I would like to build a dedicated gaming computer that will run iracing. Our family comp will not.
I'll need to find something cheap to cover the bare concrete floors. What other cheap automotive themed decorations should I get? If you had a room dedicated to something like this what would you put in it?
