Nope never covered. I bought in too low.
I can't even this berkeleying stock. It has now lost me half a million. $300k of that on a buy, and now $200k on a short.
Weeeeee!!!!!
Up 8% an hour ago.
Down 3% now.
A swing of a Ferrari 458 in an hour. This one is either going to make me Warren Buffet or Ryan's Buffet over the next week.

WuTang is still deep dark green........You betta deversify yo bonds.
Holy E36 M3. I lost 30% today. Swank made 50%. That's an 80% swing between the high bet and the low bet. Wowza. I'd be pissed if I'd lost half a mil in real money in 2 days.
EDIT - Flight got hit worse. 33% to my 29%. Sorry to steal your thunder. :)
I'm hoping this stock bites the berkeleying dust. It screwed me on the way down, now it's time for me to get my rocks off.
My imaginary wallet has whiplash.
I'm heading out of internet range for a week. To sell with minimal overall loss, or to wait for a big surprise on the other side. Hmm.
Does the game take tax implications into account? You owe short term capital gains on any sale of stock you held less than a year, long term on holdings over a year.
Being that we're trading hundreds of thousands of dollars, let's ASSume we're all in the 35% bracket.
I currently owe $0, I haven't sold anything. Anyone else? ;)

At the end of the game, you'd have to sell to reap any benefits, and as the game is <1yr, all of us would owe short term capital gains.
In reply to ProDarwin:
Why? If you bought and held throughout the game, it could be assumed you would continue to do so. Certainly at least until the one year mark.
