Marriage is like a deck of cards

Starts out with Hearts and Diamonds . . . . And you end up wishing you had Clubs and Spades

I just hit 7 months and still in the learning process. I'm trying to be a quick learner. Boy those pms days are rough. Hang in there.

You haven't learned quick enough. PMS doesn't exist. Just remember, she's mad on those days, BECAUSE OF SOMETHING YOU DID.

I had that day yesterday myself. I'd go into details, but I don't want to overload the GRM swear filter. And I would.

"I do" is actually a long sentence.

I so wish we could abolish this quaint and outdated and irresponsible legal contract.

Nobody makes you sign it... don't like the terms, don't make the agreement.

OR MIGHT DO, OR MIGHT HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT DOING, OR SHE'S JUST WAITING TO FIGURE OUT A REASON WHY

It could be worse- you could be the one looking forward to those days for forty years of your life. On a brighter note, enjoy the PMS days. You think that's bad, wait 'til mentalpause.

A woman awoke during the night to find that her husband was not in bed. She put on her robe and went downstairs. He was sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in front of him. He appeared to be in deep thought, just staring at the wall. She saw him wipe a tear from his eye and take a sip of his coffee.

"What's the matter dear? Why are you down here at this time of night?" she asked.

"Do you remember twenty years ago when we were dating and you were only 16?" he asked.

"Yes, I do," she replied.

"Do you remember when your father caught us in the back seat of my car making out?"

"Yes, I remember."

"Do you remember when he shoved that shotgun in my face and said, 'Either you marry my daughter or spend twenty years in jail?'"

"Yes, I do," she said.

He wiped another tear from his cheek and said, "You know...I would have gotten out today."

You're taking the good with the bad. Don't ever forget that. My wife can be borderline mental at times, but I honestly think she is a saint for putting up with my E36 M3 on a daily basis.

You guys are starting to bring me down. This was supposed to be an upbeat, ranting kind of thread, not a mushy, sappy, "I love My Wife unconditionally" type thread. Get out. Get out now.

I never said unconditionally. That's for my kids. I just remarked that my wife puts up with my crap, and I put up with hers. They key is finding someone whose crap you can live with for the rest of your life.

Case in point, my first lap around the marriage track was an unmitigated disaster.

BTW, not much difference between taking the bad with the good and loving unconditionally.

Just go get a new model if the current it is that bad.

I recommend a trade in or at least relocating it to significant distance from your current residence. A privet sale is usually the best option so some one else can take over the payments. Keeping the "old" one around can cause problems.

I did

We are talking cars here right?
