I passed my National Board exam to be a Certified Phlebotomist this morning... All i have left is my EKG certs and boards for that.. and i will be done, finally..

phlebotomists draw blood and such at the doctors office. My SIL was licesnsed in Ohio.

Too bad the vampire cert meant jack schitt where I worked. I was OJT'd to do the same thing as others that had the certification.

Yeah just looked it up. An easy job to describe at least, and it'll be fun to tell people you're a phlebotomist and let them guess at what it is

i was trained in house originally.. but no one outside of there would touch you unless you got the cert...

I keep getting phlebotomy mixed up with phrenology. I keep expecting a scalp massage and they show up with a needle.

I'm a squeemish baby girl when it comes to medical stuff and there isn't enough money on the planet to make me do that...

congratz... my cousin got certified... from what I understand they all practiced on each other in the class... they looked like a bunch of junkies from what I was told by the time the class was done lol
