This week we've had seriously cold temps, single digits, wind as high as 60 MPH, 5" of snow, rain the next day (snow gone), and today, rain, snow, and ice. That's just this week, and it's only Thursday!!
Here's a pic taken from inside my car today. If you look closely you'll notice that the window is down

I woulda punched the hell out of that and felt like he-man.
It has been.... interesting. But nothing surprises me when it comes to weather here.

There's a recent picture like that of the whole front of a Grand Cherokee that somebody backed the whole car out from under.
Out here in California, we’ve been stuck with daily highs in the mid 60’s for weeks; brrrrrrr
I almost killed Bill the Goldfish because I never bothered to install the heater in his tank….he kept getting more and more listless and I had been researching exotic tropical fish diseases until:
Check temperature - 68 degrees D’oh – install heater – two days later we've got a happy fish again.
In reply to DrBoost:
I'm surprised the window wasn't frozen shut.
In reply to RX Reven':
Goldfish are fine down to the 50's at least. You'll kill tropicals in the mid 60's but goldfish are just little carp. Hardy little guys.
My citrus trees on the other hand......
It was in the low 60s in Ohio today, tonight it will be 25.
We started the week in the 20s with snow flurries.
Today, I finally gave up and turned on the A/C at the office. We topped off at 76 and sunny. Tomorrow is more of the same. Saturday and Sunday are going to be in the high 60s and back into the 70s for next week.
Reminds me of this.
I should probably put the snowblower back together before it's 0 and snowing 10 inches a day or whatever wacky weather will come next.

That sounds about right!
Rain, thunder and lightning Wednesday night here.
I can't remember the last time I checked a weather report.

That's just cool, probably a bitch to clean the other windows, but cool.
Yesterday I just stayed inside until the afternoon. I got my torpedo heater and propane heater out and directed them at my car in the driveway. It was coated with 1/4 inch of ice. I finally got inside and started it up and turned the heater on full with defrost. I got the windows cleared and then figured that's good. After spreading salt around and seeing that it was not doing much I went back inside and will wait for the thaw to clear the sidewalks and the rest of the driveway. It sure nice to be retired!
I've heard rumors that this is the coldest January 13th ever in Portland. Most of the foot of snow that fell wednesday is still on the ground. Weird stuff.

Interesting, we just matched our record of 78 degrees, last seen in 1960. Diagonally across the country for record highs and record lows.

Thus the New England saying...
Don't like the weather? Just wait a minute.
The entire next week has highs in the 40s, I hate this state.
