When I got a little older and ingested reasons to barf I started puking outside, propped up against a tree, feels a lot less awful that way.

I taught Lil Stampie to aim for the tub.  Lots bigger target for a little kid plus no time delay in putting the seat up.  Chunks are harder to clean up but I'm ok with that.
