For perspective, I think I am allowed...
....filling up a generator because they killed my power because of the wind/fires with a gas can that I fill with a 5 gallon can with one of those stupid no vent spouts, which are fine for putting 1/4 gallon in a lawn mower, but are a royal pain in the ass with a 5 gallon can (which flows a gallon in about 2 minutes!!!), trying to hold the can while tripping the spout, and getting it pushed in, while not tipping over the other can, while spilling some gas.... all to avoid some minor emissions, while being able to see the GIGANTIC plum of smoke drifting out over the pacific (over the Santa Monica mountains from me)!!!

I had to use a 1 gallon version of one of these to fill my car the other day because I ran out of gas like a moron. Anyway, operating it was a pain in the butt. Combine it with the capless filler neck on the Ford and... the gas can got stuck in the car. I'd say at least 30% of the gallon made it in the tank though! The remaining was evenly divided between myself and the ground.
I probably still smell like gas
