We design in Imperial measurements, some of our vendors work in Metric.  Nothing worse that coming across a buried SHCS and you can't tell if its metric or imperial.  With Torx it either fits or it doesn't.

I worked with someone who could berk up Torx.  He would always come to me and say "this stripped, what do I do?".  I say, is your T30 worn out?  "Its a T27 not a T30."  No, it's a T30 and that's why you stripped it.
