It's not the Glock's fault that the dog knew the combination to the owner's gun safe.
Bold of you to assume it was locked up.
Entirely my point.

I feel the need to perform a public service... All Nipondenso starters, as the one pictured above, have replaceable contacts in the solenoid. Easily accessible, cheap, and a great way to save some dough, if you can find a source for the contacts. There's about 4 common ones.
A funny thing about this at work recently. One of the guys tried this using a pry-bar against the starter and hitting the pry-bar with a hammer. And he cut the trigger wire. Oops.

If it was a Siberian Husky I want to see what he did to the gun cabinet, and the floor under the gun cabinet, and the floor joists under the floor and....

Any time I have seen a modern F1 car I've been surprised by the size of it.
My takeaway is that the Crown Vic has the potential of being an F1 car.
I have it on good authority that while they can be forced* to handle passably, when you do go over the limit you are intimately aware that you no longer have any control over 2.5t of American iron spinning towards freedom and carnage.
Allegedly.
*and I do mean FORCE

I am well aware. I've autocrossed a Crown Vic.
I may or may not have spun that Crown Vic as a 16 year old. In a McDonalds drive through. That was the moment I learned summer tires+rain+freshly paved and oiled blacktop+RWD = fun stuff. Because I legitimately was not going faster than 2mph, but I'll be damned if I wasnt facing the wrong direction while occupying mostly the same space I had been 2 seconds prior.
In reply to mtn :
I never got to autocross mine. But fresh pavement and rain are always fun. Except on bikes.

You needed to drive a police car on police spec tires. They handled very nicely and I daresay could drift controllably with ease, allegedly.
The tires were key, they were basically constructed like tarmac rally tires wrought in 235/70R15. Plaster stiff and very, um, forgiving. Anybody with enough money could buy them from Tire Rack!
