I want to take the time to remember the fallen. The one's who gave their lives to help us be where we are at now.
I also want to thank all of those who have served in our Armed Forces. I know we have a few of our regulars here that are serving or have served, so thank you.
I have had several of my family members in the Navy including my Grandfather and my older Brother. My best friend currently serves in the Army and has done two tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Happy Memorial Day.

Yep... Thanks to those who have served, are currently serving, as well as those who will serve in the future.

All give some; some give all. Thanks to all who serve!

I also don't think that there should only be a day once a year for veterans or the fallen. I was lectured about thanking veterans earlier today.

one more to add to those:

This was found at work, and peaked my interest:

PFC Vittorio Antonio of Kent, Rhode Island was reported missing in action at Kunu-Ri, North Korea, after the Chinese intervention in the war. Not listed as a POW, and no remains have been identified. Status changed to "Died while missing", promoted to Corporal, and awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.
