I frequently search Craigslist for a finger brake. I have stumbled upon a combo shear, brake, slip roll machine. Do I want this?

seems like a pretty cool concept. can't say I've ever seen one, but I was just wondering if they existed last night while flipping through the Harbor freight ad.

The shear part might be nice if you are working with large sheets. But I have some pneumatic shears and a nibbler that are fine for smaller parts.
The only automotive use I can think of for the slip roll is "beading" tubing.
The brake part doesn't come close to being as useful as a finger brake.
I would hold out for the finger brake especially if I had to choose one or the other.
Edit: FYI, I used to teach sheetmetal shop.
I've used one at a race shop I helped out at years ago. I liked the press brake but the shear was useless on anything thicker then 24 guage full width. For small jobs it would work but deticated shears, slip rollers, and finger brakes rule!

whatsat combo gonna cost ya? I'd roll w/ it if the price was right.
A Clarke 48' 18 ga finger brake is around six bills +/- plus shipping.
