Looking to save a few bucks and Metro PCS can get ma a cheaper phone plan than AT&T with extra features to boot. Looked at the coverage, etc and I think it'll be ok. Anyone have experience with them?

All the illegals in my area use them.

They don't work in my neck of the woods. Apparently there are a lot of areas they don't work. I sure wish they did cause they are definitely cheap enough

Back when I was planning on getting a cell phone, Metro PCS was on my "consider" list, until I saw their coverage map. If anything happened out in the boonies, I would be SOL, because their coverage drops off as soon as you leave congested areas. What's the point of having a cell phone when you can't use it in emergencies in isolated areas?

I had metro for a little while and with the travel talk roaming they offer now its not bad, however if you want a smart phone their data speeds suucck unless you get one of their 4g phones and the coverage area for those is a joke, best cheap provider in my opinion now is virgin mobile i have it and love it!
