Before I bought my miata I didn't know that "Top in good condition" is really a euphanism for "leaks like a sieve"...
Of course, same with all soft tops.
Top in good condition = leaks like a sieve
Top in need of work = Holes big enough to stick your head through. Wear a raincoat, or better yet don't take it out in the rain.
Top in bad shape = there are some scraps of it in the trunk.
Needs a new top.. you are lucky you are still getting the frame
