I don't think many, if any, of us actually live in Detroit. Lots of us in the burbs though. A get together would probably be cool, but I'm anti-social so probably wouldn't show up.

Why don't we make it at Waterford Hills during a race weekend? Or Grattan, I guess, since it's closer to the middle of the mitt.

I've got a 10,000 sq-ft shop in Madison Heights. Its full of miatas / race cars / fab equipment & other goodies. Would be happy to host a GRM get together of some sort.

Otherwise, theres always a get together of some sort on the "hill" during Waterford Hills Race weekends. The beers are cheap, and the racing is great ;)

Well, let's shoot for just a few weeks down the road huh? That way it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. How about may 16th or 17th or the 32rd or 24th??? Now, where? Maybe the Brighton or Novi area?? It's fairly central and shouldn't be too far for those Lansing folks???

The Belle Isle event is fun but since I am dragging Trev around and he can't go it leaves me out.

I think a standard meet and greet and picnic type meeting would be better. Bring the significant (car/bike) and insignificant (everyone else) others.

Since we are not all "local", how about a couple.

In the past, we've gotten together at an AROC autocross in Ypsilanti- looks like we may have another one there on Aug 2. For Grattan- our club (AROCDetroit.org) is hosting a track day on Memorial Day- that's a good time to meet, too (although, I'll miss it without a car...). And I really like the idea of going to Kendall's place- sounds like a cool area to have a outdoor grill, and to splill mustard on his cars.

Theres no reason we can't do this multiple times, since none of us are available at any single point.

Actually, we are not planning on going this weekend. Don't have old car out of storage, and new cars still has a LONG way to go.

I suspect my first autocross will be AROC on June 14.
