Middle of a project

Does it ever seem like nothing ever happens until your in the middle of a big project?

I have been waiting for 6 months in the delayed entry for the Air Force to match me with a job,with out as much as a hint to when i would get matched with a job. and what do you know ,Today they call me and tell me i'm shipping off to BMT on Monday.

The Issue i'm having is last week my wife hit a goat on her way to work at about 50mph and did some pretty good damage to her car. So of course her car is pulled apart for repairs right now and i have 2 days to reassemble it and finish all the body work before i leave on monday.

I'm not going to complain to much it just seems like nothing ever happens till i start a big project lol

On one hand congrats on the job coming together on the other, bummer about the timing.

what job did you get? I was in DEP for over 8 months, but at least I had a couple week notice.

I have to re-up again this year, the first year or so can be rough, but it gets better.

I took a quick ship for a munitions position, and yea it was a goat we live in very rural VA and from time to time there is free roaming live stock that can and will run out into the road. About 5 years ago i hit a cow on the way to work one morning lucky for me i was in a full size gmc with a lift and brush guards so it did little damage lol
