The amount of time spent on that, if spent doing something lucrative, could have bought a real M3. I respect doing something different-- I spent a day on track in my '90 900S last week-- but I just can't wrap my head around this sort of thing.

Even better than the first time, thanks to fresh engine mounts and fluids. Stock engine/trans, but dampers/springs/rotors/pads/wheels/tires are aftermarket. Its a blast in the corners, and turned more than a few heads and got me approached by a few fellow participants at this most recent track day. There're a couple of on-track pics from my first outing in my 'Garage' profile for the car.
I figure you missed the Civic which is "customized" to look like an M3. It is all over craigslist this week.
