That thing looks like a stripper I met in Atlanta once. Look at the size of the meats on the back. Almost balances the blower in front.
Blowers are sized according to the Detroit Diesel engine which they originally powered. A 6-71 blower came from a DD straight 6-cylinder, 71 cubic inches per cylinder.
Detroit Diesel did make a 24V149. Maybe this blower came off that.

I think that one was 2 12V149s bolted toghether (more or less) so I think it had 2 blowers.

Actually it was three 8V149's, I think. The 20V149 was two sixes and an eight. Three blowers. Though they had only one crank, I think.
