I've had one or two where my arms went numb, but it's usually where I can't see center vision or to the right, with a big sparklies causing the blockage that I can see with my eyes closed.  If I try to keep looking at things, then I get a massive headache around the same time my vision comes back.  If I keep my eyes closed, glasses off, anything to keep me from trying to focus on things I can't see, then generally there's no headache.

What's interesting is that I also have hellacious visual snow, which they find also tracks with migraine enjoyers.  They don't know what CAUSES it, but there's a correlation.

Arm going numb would scare me a lot, have t had that yet *knock on wood*

Thought if I closed one eye it would be less distracting, turns out it just covered half of my right eye too .

That's the good part - because it is neurological and not actually an eye problem, it's always in your field of vision no matter what you try.

My MOM gets migraines (or used to) and I was trying and failing to explain this.

I only get a headache (like cranial pain, get me a drill to let the demons out) if I keep trying to see through the blind spots.  I was explaining that when I start to see that I can't see, I take my glasses off so I don't get a headache.

"Sounds like you need new glasses then."

No... if I take my glasses off, I can't see.  Being able to see but having big blind spots is what causes the headache.
