It is a 1992 but however those are not heritage stripes. The PO added the stripes, and they don't turn in at the end like heritage stripes do. They are paint though, and I've always loved em and thought they completed the car, but I think I'm growing out of it. The car didn't have them factory, so when it hits the paint booth, they may be going away.

See how about halfway down the hood, these stripes get narrower? Mine stay the same width down the hood. Also, heritage cars have black headlamp pockets and body color grilles. Mine is the other way around and IMO, I like that look much better.

These Heritage Package cars were available in numerous patterns.

Black with red:

Red with black. Those three are the most common. These two are the rarest.

Purple with silver.

Green with gold.

I still have my first car, the 3rd gen Camaro, but I really miss the 77 scout I had in college, that was a fun truck and I catch myself looking on Craigslist regularly looking for another one

I miss my old cars all the time and occasionally go looking for a similar one:

'91 Integra - loved that car to death, but all of the failing body bits made me let it go. I do wish I'd kept it and turned it into a track rat.

'71 Dodge Demon - was actually my mother's car, but we still had it after she bought a new car. My parents eventually let the registration and inspection lapse and it got towed away from the apt complex we lived in at the time. I did my best to try to fix some of the rust problems, but never got it really finished. It didn't help that my father is mechanically inept and none of my friends back then were car people. I miss it mostly because Demon's in similar condition today sell for stupid-money...

'90 E-150 conversion van - Sold after I bought my truck. Regretted it instantly and still do. If I could go back and put the money I spent on the truck into the van, I'd be much better off.

I've kept my first car, a '66 Dodge Dart, but I still miss a '86 Corvette I sold a few years ago. It was a sound decision to sell it - with nearly 200,000 miles on the clock and an 80-100 mile round trip commute depending on the route I take, I almost seemed to have subscribed to the Electrical Gremilin of the Month club. But between the V8 sound and the Z51 handling package, it was one of the most fun cars I've ever had.

I still have my first car, a 64 Spit, but the only car I have sold that I miss is the GTV-6 that I sold to someone on here.

I will get another one at some point but I really want my kids to grow up around a cool old car that gets used.

I also quite often miss my first car. It was a 78 Camaro LT that was fixed up and had a killer motor backed by a Muncie. I still have the copy of the factory build sheet for that car.

I miss my old '89 Conquest TSI. Had a 351-W swapped in it. Never got it finished and drove it before I had to get rid of it. I keep in touch with the guy who got it from me and it's changed hands a few times. Still not finished. I kinda want it back and kinda don't...

Miss the heck out of my '86 Mazda RX-7. Had a bit of suspension work done to it, rebuilt the engine, but had a couple issues I never got around to fixing but it'd be a lot of fun to have her back. Last I heard her current owner got her impounded in Alabama? Guess thats that then...

I remind myself that I like the idea of the car, and the memories of the car, but the car itself was a POS.

Except for the Isuzu. Nothing good ever came of that car.

i miss my 1st car, 1975 camaro with the 350 V8. what i don't miss about the car is the rust and the 3 spd auto it had.

I saw my old turbo Shadow about a year after I sold it. Dents everywhere and a berkeleying Dale Earnhardt sticker. I should've just taken it away.

I miss my '64 Ranchero even though it ran on 6.5 cylinders, my '64 Falcon even though it barely ran ever and I only owned it briefly, my '84 GTI. I don't exactly miss my Miata, but I still might try it again. I even miss my '75 Nova and '84 Marquis sometimes.

Right now, I mostly miss my 2002, and it's still parked out front, it just needs an everything...

Today I went to my moms place and was rummaging around in some boxes I had stored there and I ran across my shop manuals for the GTS. I did not find my G Body shop manual I was looking for.

I miss my 67 Midget. I went looking for one a year or two ago and even drove one but it just wasn't the same. I had a once-in-a-lifetime deal and sold it.

Ian, two questions on the Demon. Did your folks buy it new or used? If used, was it a green 225 car?

Dad bought his '71 new at Springfield Dodge. He traded it in back in '74 for a Gran Fury. The Demon is the first car I remember, and the one I came home from the hospital in. Dad still remembers the VIN to this day. I keep meaning to put a wanted ad out there for it.

For the ones I've missed I've gotten spiritual successors to them. My '96 Dakota replaced the '88 that was totaled when I was graduating from college. The '87 Daytona Pacifica replaces the '88 I had in college before the Dakota. The insurance was too much for a kid paying his way through school. The Dak was much cheaper. And fun in a different way.

Everything else seems to stay here in the fleet.

They bought it used in 1972 in Georgia somewhere. Some decades later we found out it had been hit behind the passenger door and there was about a 1/2" of bondo. It was gold with a 225 auto, p/s, p/b, a/c and basic bench-seat vinyl in brown. Unfortunately, I have no memory of the a/c working. I'd give damn near anything to have that car back...

1973 Mazda RX-2. Sure it was a frumpy-looking 4-door, and a slushbox to boot, but that thing was a hoot to drive. Not many left nowadays....

Sure, I'd love to have some of the sports cars I've had in the past back...Mustang, 'Vette, etc... Would kill to have my FFR Cobra back. But the one I actually miss the most and regret selling the most is my '99 Mazda Protege. I had it for 3.5 years, it was my daily beater. Put 75k miles on it. I sold it because I convinced myself I was ready for a change and a newer, nicer car. So I sold it when I bought my NC Miata (which is long ago sold). Within a few weeks of selling it, I was kicking myself. It was the perfect beater. Reliable, 5spd, 33+mpg, a blast to drive. It was like an old comfy sneaker for me. Have gone through a few other beaters since then. I'm happy with my Volvo wagon now, but still wish I had never sold the Mazda. Mine was just like this, except it was white.

I occasionally miss my B15 Sentra SE-R, but if I were to replace it, I'd get a Spec V. It needs a manual and a limited slip...

I miss my 350Z much more though A Mustang punched it in the face, and it never recovered...
