So it looks like my Bengals get to go to Houston for the first round. I like our chances out there.

Any Houston fans that would beg to differ?

I am a Houston fan but I am not too confident after the last two weeks.

I am, more importantly, a Falcons fan and I don't want to see Seattle or the 49ers in the playoffs AT ALL!

As far as the AFC playoffs, Denver has been flying under the radar IMO and is a very dangerous team.

I will settle for just a damn playoff win out of Ryan.

Oh yeah, IMHO Denver has a very good chance at going all the way.

11 wins in a row is not exactly low-profile. A Brady/Manning AFC Championship would not surprise me at all. Denver seems like a very complete team, though. If I were a bettin' man I wouldn't bet against them.

Baltimore is basically the dead man walking in the AFC. They have zero spark. And Houston has gone from having a lock on the #1 seed to #3 in just two weeks. That can't portend good things. Although for them maybe NOT having the week off is a good thing.

I think Indy is the clear dark horse in the AFC. They remind me of Seattle when they snuck in at 7-9 and made it to the divisional round. They're playing on house money.

As for the NFC, despite the hype of tonight's Dallas/Washington game, it's really just a contest to see who gets blown out in the first round. Maybe Washington surprises Seattle if the get in, but I don't see Dallas beating them. But except for the NFC Least champ, the NFC is anyone's contest.

As for Atlanta, if they can get that first win, they may go all the way. I see them having more trouble getting through the divisional round than the Championship game.

So true. NFC East is the new NFC West as far as being the worst division in football.

And Denver has a winning streak that is to be feared but I forget about them every week. No one talks about them. I swear I hear more about the NFC East than I do about the Broncos.

I'm from Cincinnati (just got home from there today, actually) and live in Denver. I'd love to see the Bengals win next week and come here. But I'd have to root for the Broncos at that point. I don't follow a whole lot most of the season, but usually start watching games right about now. Not much of a game, but fun watching the Bronco's blow out the Chiefs.

Broncos went a little under the radar - if you recall, at one point, they were 2 and 3. But that was the last time they lost. I'm not a huge football nut, but from what I have seen, they've been coming together and getting better each week.

The plane never left the ground since their first season for most people. Jerry Glanville started the engines once.

The NFC East has teams from the 1st, 4th, 5th and 9th largest markets in the USA.

AFC West teams play in cities ranked 17th, 28th, 31st and whatever the hell Oakland is. Yes, San Fran/Oakland/San Jose is the #6 market combined, but I guarantee you people in San Francisco and San Jose have little or nothing to do with the Raiders.

I was sad to see Tebow leave Denver and thought Manning was a bit of a risk because of his age and health - but I have to admit he's convinced me. I wouldn't call them "under the radar" around here, we're right in the middle of Bronco Country. I'd love to see them get to the Superbowl.

Let's hope Tebow gets a chance to play next year in Florida. Love him or hate him, he added a whole lot of excitement to the game.

I don't hate him at all, I just don't buy into the hype. He is more known for off the field crap than on the field. I wish he would get the chance to show us if it is real or not. He really hasn't had the chance to show anything. I think Rex Ryan is a jerkoff for even bringing him to NY to not give him a chance when dirty Sanchez throws picks like it's in his contract.

Tebow would definitely put butts in seats in Jax, which is something we desperately need. But the only thing that will keep those butts in those seats longer than about a season is wins. I'd love to see the Jags pick up Alex Smith to compete for the starting QB spot and get Tebow to use as a TE/Fullback/some kind of hybrid guy that can take snaps in the Wildcat. I'd love to see a superior athlete with the power and mobility of Tebow on the field for 20-30 snaps a game, but I think he'd contribute more as something other than a QB.

This is EXACTLY what I was saying and hoping Andy Reid would do with Vick. Do not limit this guy to being a QB. Do you realize he would be the ultimate decoy. You could design plays with him as a HB/FB or throw him in the slot, put him in a pistol or shotgun with another QB. Let your mind go wild. He wouldn't have to always be a contributing player on every play or anything to be effective in drawing attention.

I was a season ticket holder for the Falcons from 2004 trough 2007 and was a huge Vick fan. Part of the fun of having Vick was that it took teams a while to figure out how to defend the bootleg run/play-action/QB keeper. Somewhere in 2006 teams figured it out and once it's on film, everyone figures it out. That's why I think if you could design plays well outside of the realm of just the Wildcat, it would take some time to figure out how to defend it. I remember hearing people say "just move Vick to HB and get another QB". He is worth so much more than just being a HB or QB.

I was at the game on the #2 highlight in the link. That play officially made me believe he is superhuman. Watching it live we knew he didn't make it. We were wrong.

In reply to JG Pasterjak:

That even sounds about how Tebow himself expected to be played in NY when he responded to criticism about bulking up to much to play QB. If played as a regular TE or FB, the opposing defense would have a beck of a time figuring out the play. That sounds like an offensive coordinator's wet dream...

Elsewhere... At the bottom of the NFC east... The Eagles are looking for a QB, a head coach, and am offensive line... I had figured 2012 would be a bad season... and I was right. I have minimal hopes for 2013 as well.
