I'm not sure if I'm impressed more by the guys skill / balls, or the amazing capability of that bike.

The bikes I've rode would have snapped in half several times during that run-- killing me along with them.

So does the "Rider 13" announcement at the beginning mean 12 other idiots have already done this?

I assume so. And at least one was apparently faster.

they should time those runs Bonneville style: make you do a return run in the opposite direction and average the time...

I'm betting they spend more on their bikes, than I do on cars. Serious machines.

A quick Google search shows prices from $2500 to $10000.

Depends on if you count "wrist" as one, or if you count all the bones in there individually. Ive broken my femur, wrist, fingers, and hearts . I cant do backflips, and my count is up at 6.
