My friends named my E30 track car "Coffin" after looking at my weight reduction techniques (including removing frame rails ahead of the control arm, all the metal under front fenders, and using 3/4 tubing as a steering column.
It doesn't count because I survived. The joke is on them.
Events I hope to spectate (at least) before I die:
-The Mitty
-24 hours of LeMans
-a night race at Bristol
-Grand Prix of Monaco
-Pikes Peak Hillclimb
-GRM 20XX challenge (how have I not done this yet?)
2nd tier:
-cup race at Talladega
-just about anything at Laguna Seca
-12 hours of Sebring
-Rolex 24 at Daytona
Things I won't miss if I never see:
-Indy 500
-Daytona 500
If it were truly a Bucket list for participation, then the Isle of Man TT would be on it. Yes, it would kill me, but better than than being unplugged.
