Need to move a 450 from upstate New York to Atlanta, Ga. The best price I could find is about $500. Any thoughts on a less expensive way to get it moved? Relay it?

Man, you'd spend that much driving the truck down and back.
I'd ride it or just ship it fo $500.
New information.
Ian's girlfriend is going to Atlanta for a month or so this summer. He is going to fly up and drive back down with her (she hates driving alone). I don't think she has a hitch on her car, but could one of these trailers take a 500lb. bike for 16 hours of driving? She has a Hyundai Elantra, can it pull this?

God I hope so, I just put a htich on my Mazda 3 to do just that. A lot of folks here use them to haul bike to the track for track days, but those are short hauls. Almost all those guys have small cars You can't get one from Harbor Frieght, mine is backordered for two months now, but add one of these; wheel chock
I'd go with one of these for the 12" wheels and then add a wheel chock. Add a steel channel and a few tie downs and you're golden. Also, this will give you a small utility trailer that you will suddenly find many uses for.
Non-issue. I used the 8 foot long HF trailer to pull two bikes (74 Norton Commando & 78 Honda 750) from NJ to FL and back.
I agree with upgrading to the 12 inch wheel sized trailer. The larger wheels will provide a better ride.
