Just as a frame of reference- those are HD commercial diesel trucks. Not personal diesel trucks. Not many normal consumers have a +14k lb truck.

I am pretty sure that a good size moving truck that we were talking about above might not be able to be registered ,
Just wanted to let you all know , its worse than that for the trucks down by the Port of LA that are moving containers.....

Who here has a moving truck? Those are local companies that pretty much burn through vehicles on a pretty regular basis- so this move to restrict old vehicles may not be a huge deal.
Commercial vehicles is the only place where the regulation can call for vehicle replacements- not going to happen on a personal one.
The changes to LEVIII (roughly now) and their update of ACC2 (roughly '27) are pretty dramatic, but I think they will be satisfied.
