I've seen this story around the 'webs, and barely paid attention. But finally bored at work I decide to read it.
Lady driving a MK1 MR2 in Lousiana gets hit by an SUV, managed to ROLL IT OVER (didn't think that was possible), and a passer-by grabs the money that flew out of the car and leaves her trapped.
But the main reason I'm posting this is 1) yes it's an MR2 so it caught my eye, but 2) there's a number on the back fender - autocross maybe?

Dunno about the story, but back in the early '90s while driving my '81 Civic DX hatch, I t-boned a lady in an Escort and rolled her over. I wasn't even going that fast - under 40 - and I spiked the brakes when she pulled out in front of me.

No, in fact, I was the one carrying the big bundle of cash - we were in the process of servicing my father's carwashes, so I had probably $2000 in used 1s and 5s in the back seat. Plus 2 gallons of muriatic acid and maybe 200 pounds of tools and pipe fittings.
I saw an early Forester hit a 2005ish Ford Expedition and roll it over a few months ago.
When a friend of mine was killed in a crash the paramedics or the cops stole about $10k from his body so this doesn't surprise me.

A friend of mine came around a corner on the inside lane of a highway in a slammed EP70 (poor visibility over the median) and suddenly saw a truck. The outside lane was occupied so all he could do was slow down as much as possible before hitting the truck.
While he was unconscious the truck driver took his money, cell phone, tax disc and insurance certificate (!) but he got caught.

That's what clued me in to it being an MR2 in a tiny thumbnail image.
