This has been quite the battle for my beautiful lady.
I'm not sure what proper etiquette is for a situation where you have never met a person but spent a few years in electronic conversions so... you know them a little better than say... your neighbor from 3 doors down and will probably get along well when you finally do meet them.
I'm going to go with a heartfelt "Get well soon, Mrs Aussie.".

come on Gina .. whip this thing ...
thoughts and prayers Steve
Prayed for you guys tonight - hang in there!
Loooong day today, EKG at the Clinic shows her heart was still fast, Doc wants her in for 3 days for transition onto another drug, but this one is dangerous and needs preparation.
Gina has to start a Coumadin course immediately, this will be monitored for the next couple of weeks, then she goes in to the Cleveland Clinic for 3 days while they monitor her progress as she starts another course of yet another drug. This one is designed to control her heart's electrical system not just the speed of the heart beat.
They monitor her heart rate constantly to ensure she handles the transition to the new drug.
Better than yet another surgery, scary stuff all the same.

thanks for keeping us posted. let her know we're all pulling for her.
Back at Cleveland Clinic for 3 days of getting a new drug into her system and monitoring how she accepts it..
Upside I got to spend a couple of hours with Carkid this evening.
Words fail. Here's hoping with every fiber of my being that her treatment does not. What's up with this berkeleying "dangerous and needs preparation" drug? Hell, it sounds like experimental E36 M3.
Keep your chin up, Aussie!
It is not experimental, it just has to be monitored to ensure the heart rate goes where it is meant to,
I probably put to much emphasis on the word dangerous. I am no doctor and am trying to repeat in laymans terms what these experts are telling me,

pulling for you Gina (and Steve) ... prayers ....
My sister went thru this same adventure a few years ago. Today she is fit and healthy, and running again. It can (will!) be beaten, its just a matter of finding what works. Sis responded to a semi-experimental laser surgery to destroy the overactive heart tissue responsible for her tachycardia after medications were less than effective. Docs said drugs wouldve been a more optimal answer, so hopefully you guys are on a better path. Many prayers are with you and the missus!
is this a 'one time' medication, or something to be taken regularly?
She'll beat it, she puts up with you so she must be tough right?
You guys are in our prayers.
Wishing the best for Gina. Sounds a little like what my wife went through a few years ago, but not as serious. Fortunately, the medication they put my wife has worked fine.
She is in getting a jump start right now
woah...hopefully thats a good thing? keeping you guys in my thoughts and prayers
All done, so far so good, she is resting beside me
