home ... YEA
She has a follow up Wednesday with her Cardiologist in Ft Wayne. Otherwise all seems good so far, she is still getting used to having a heart beat that sounds kinda normal and having the ability to walk up steps without being winded.

We were told she would be better than she ever has been, so far, and it's early days yet, this has been the case. Her operation was a great success, the only problem was the fluid in her lungs that has now dissipated.
The follow up was perfunctory, she is still tired, sore and retaining fluid, but Gina is resting better and, for once, not overdoing things.
So far she has quit smoking too, fingers crossed on that one.
Quiting is not easy (ask me how I know...) But it will certainly be worth it.
Anything I can do to help just let me know.
Gina, keep at it ... you'll love the result ... it's hard, but as Stan said, it's SO worth it
really glad you're doing better, hope to see ya at the Rolex next yr
The fluid in Gina's lungs after surgery, turned into pneumonia, which turned into pleurisy.
She is still having a rough time getting over this.
Update in response to requests.
Dang. Like others have said, keep your head on straight. She's gotta be frustrated and she'll need you to be a rock.
Michelle and I will send some good vibes her way.
