So when I started into my job almost 2 years ago, I was required to get this gaudy mudflap that is the entire width of my truck. Problem is, even though I couldn’t wait for the day to remove it, I actually don’t mind it now, because it keeps rocks from hitting the trailers I haul.
Unfortunately, the rubber they used is falling apart. The stuff they used isn’t very thick and it looks like it’s made out of rubber door mat material. It is also one piece, so they must have a roll of this stuff. Now the whole thing is custom, but it looks to be rebuildable and that is my plan.
What could I use to replace the rubber on here?
Conveyer belt from Craigslist?

Yep.
Another possibility is to buy semi mudflaps and cut them down for height. They won't cover the full width, but pretty close.
That looks like the rubber mat in the bed of my pickup. See if you can find anyone selling a basic roll of it versus the typical precut to fit mats?

That would be my pick. It’s heavy and reinforced and hold up pretty well.

Horse trailer mat purchased from TSC or somewhere similar. May be too heavy, though.
Lowe's Depot sells rubber entryway mat material off a roll. Just purchase the amount you need and replace as necessary. If I recall correctly they had a thicker version that looks similar to what you have there.
I’d do 4 semi truck mudflaps since they’ll just bolt to the bar going across. They’re $7 each at the freightliner dealer my uncle works at.
