I'll be picking up Modern Warfare 3 this afternoon. If you don't play Forza with me, my gamer tag is my forum name, my parties are open to friends, so jump on in.

How do you like it so far . . . I'm debating whether or not to pick this up. MW2 was so-so for me . . . .
I'll let you know after work. I'm off at two. The wife has been warned that pizza rolls are to be ready promptly with beer to boot.
Edit: Asked my friend how it was. He texts break one word; epic. Your going to buy it eventually, and the price won't drop for a year. Just pick it up today and pwn sum noobs with us... Whatever that means.

What, you don't like flying KICKASS JETS raining DEATH FROM ABOVE?
MW3 and BF3 will have to wait; Skyrim is about to rear it's ugly dragon-like head and keep me from doing anything productive.
I'll get it around Christmas. So by that time, everyone who will already have it will be at level 50 and I'll get my ass whooped everytime I play online.
Honestly if EA didn't change who you play with online, I'm going to be annoyed. Many people, including myself, have been complaining that if you are a lower level, you always end up with much higher level people, therefore allowing the lower level people to continuously get killed and gain no experience. It seems like the only way to gain any experience is by being a squatter and I hate doing that.

The only problem with Battlefield is its best thing. The vehicles. Yes you get to use them, but they are used rather unfairly when it comes to online play.
I haven't played a battlefield game since Bad Company, but they are not bad, I just know more people who play COD series.

I did hear the server selection was pretty bad ass in bf3. UN actually a fan. You get to rain hellfire from above in the COD franchise.

You mean get pwn'd by sum noobs who use those super duper controller cheats . . . Man that stuff is rampant in the other COD games. . .
As long as I can get 1 to 1 KD I'm fine

While I do think they need to nerf the flares the jets/helos use, I don't find myself being an unstoppable juggernaut in them, nor do I have real trouble shooting them down. A well piloted tank can make life miserable, but if it's not well supported by boots, I've made more than a few kills going CQB with the C-4 against a tank in an ally. Also mortaring. I've become quite the tank destroyer with the mortar.

I feel the same way. I have never cheated and my KD was positive. Modded systems take over when the next game is released.
Ok I finally unwrapped it and finished the single player campaign. I proceeded to Multiplayer and died horribly at the hand of quick scoping My KD is FFFFFFFugly
So far, I give it a meh. It seems to be more of MW 2.3 than a entire version. It felt and played like a sped up MW2
I played some split screen with a buddy yesterday for a bit. Seems Black Ops skills translate very well to MW3.
The quick-scoping will go away. There are a few glitches as I've noticed. Had good and bad games. Feel free to jump into one of my games. Yes, the Black Ops skills translate quite well.
Meh, Saints Row 3 has Jets AND Burt Reynolds.
After wasting money on the boring E36 M3fest that was black ops I'm not going to even bother with MW3. I am planning on getting Battlefield three though.
I have never been sick in a car, or on a boat, or in a plane from movement alone. Despite some heavy seas, aerobatic maneuvers or crazy driving, I am rock-steady.
But if I try to read in a car as a passenger, I get woozy within three seconds. Almost instantly. Same happens when I try to play a first-person game. The first time everything pans around, I am dizzy and have a headache. Pokemon Snap! had me down for hours, there is no hope that I will ever get to enjoy any of these games. Weep for me, and shoot someone (or something) for me.

I played saints row for about two hours before selling it off. I'm a GTA guy all the way. Favorite game EVER.
GTA4 was a horrible mess, I play those games to screw around, not to have the computer call me up every fifteen minutes wanting to go look at tits.
Saints row 2 is retardedly fantastic and the third looks to be even better. Although I'm still going to get gta5 whenever those shiny happy people at rockstar release it.
In the CoD franchise I've only ever played the Modern Warfare titles. I made level 19 last night so I can jump into the hardcore rooms. I still need to learn the maps though. But, for me to if you see me on send me an invite.
