996 changed headlights in the run to differentiate from the Boxster.
Yep. There was a refresh in 2001, where they got gloveboxes, and cabs got glass rear windows. There was also a 997 refresh in 2009 when the M96 engine was replaced with the direct injected 9A1, and lights were updated to LED.

LOL, that reminds me. I was covering Rennsport Reunion for a publication last year, and they did the North American unveiling of the 991 there. Porsche didn't mention beforehand that it'd be there, and it wasn't until somebody mentioned them, after I'd walked past the new cars about half a dozen times, that I realized that they weren't 997s and got the story put together on them! (In case that makes me look really horrible, by the way, I was there to cover the racing and not the new car unveil, but put a story together anyway once I realized they were there.)

He may be the best boss on the planet, but he's not stupid!Don't feel lonesome. My boss just bought a new Porsche Cayman S to go with his slightly older Mercedes 500 SLK. He's offered everyone in the office to drive it except me. Think I should be offended?
Maybe you should. Or maybe he knows you're the only one who wouldn't drive it like a granny and he wants the car pampered
